I cannot tell you what to do. I can relate what worked for me as I navigate my human experience. This is an imperfect list that serves as a start.
- Slow down and take a breath
- Become present to your current state of being
- What is your nervous system telling you: A
- Are you in fight or flight?
- Allow thoughts and feelings to come and go. If there is some that keep coming back, use curiosity to ask what message is wanting your attention.
- Be curious
- Curiosity is another human gift that can be found anytime.
- Is there a want or need I am trying to fulfill?
- What is the purpose of the actions that I am taking?
- Pay attention to your intention
- Fear has built empires and those empires collapse as soon as individual suffering overcomes the fear of change.
- FEAR: False Evidence Appearing Real – Perception colours the information coming in.
- Patience
- Give yourself some time to figure things out.
- This will take discipline and can be hard to accept, and it is worth it.
- Trust in yourself
- You have gotten this far in life by being you.
- Any anxiety you may feel is a sign that something is important to you.
- Seek help when you need it
- Let go of any story that getting help is a weakness. Humans are social creatures. Our strength is working with other humans.
